Cinderella, the most popular of all pantomime subjects hardly needs an explanatory synopsis but just in case you've been living on a rock these past years here's a sneak peak in to our pantomime.
The story begins with families at a picnic who when asked by the children to tell a story, relate the fable of a once wealthy Baron, now hard up because of his pesky step daughters extravagant use of his credit cards. He is sad being unable to prevent his step daughters, who are also on the rather ugly side, from making life intolerable for his real daughter, Briar Rose, calling her Cinderella because she has to clean out the cinders of all the fires at Hardup Hall every day.
Magically, Baron Hardup walks in on the picnic and so the fable unfolds including the perky Buttons who loves and loses Cinderella to the one and only Prince Charming.
Our box office at City Hall is open 1 hour before curtain on performance dates (tel 292 2313).
NOTE: The online system is not available when the box office is open.
