"Stoppard's richest most ravishing comedy - a play of wit, intellect, language , brio and emotion" - The New York Times
We are delighted that Canadian director and actor, Terry Tweed, is returning to Bermuda to direct a production of one of Tom Stoppard's most famous plays.
It has been said, that Tom Stoppard made his name as a young writer with the incredibly inventive Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead but with Arcadia in 1993, he truly found a mature and powerful voice.
Arcadia won the Laurence Olivier award for best new play in 1994. In 1995 it won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Play and the Tony Award for Best Play.
This is Director Terry Tweed's second visit to Bermuda. She came in 2009 to direct our, much acclaimed, production of Missing Celia Rose by Ian August. We are all very excited to be working with her again.
